Allentown Anglophile The Mad Hatter The Mad Hatter was located on Lehigh Street on the south side of Allentown, right next to McDonalds. It was regarded as the teen club to go to for great soul music. Operated by future concert promoter Tom Makoul, the Mad Hatter had many national acts perform their hits there, as well as the regular regional acts. The building still stands as pictured.
