Allentown Anglophile The Maple Grove Inn A country bar like the Queen Victoria. The Maple Grove was established as a nite club by the owners of the Queen Vic who moved to be closer to Allentown. The new owners transformed the 200 year old stone building into more of a Rock Club which was better suited for local bands playing original material, like Shuffle (later known as Daddy Licks), D.B.L.I.T.Y. and Oddessy. The location was less than ideal (about 10 miles west of Allentown) and parking was hard to come by. Now a popular restaurant, the stone building with two fireplaces has an uncommen atmosphere.
