Allentown Anglophile The Queen Victoria Country bars became popular in the 1970s and the Queen Vic was the best place to go to suck down a pitcher or two of your favorite draught and listen to country rock bands like Dusty Rose and Pickens. Only D.B.L.I.T.Y. played here of the Anglophile bands and they were a fish out of water at that. Located on Snowdrift Rd. just west of Rt. 309 in Allentown, the Queen Victoria lives on in the memories of thousands who visited in its heyday.
